Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain solutions for Terabyte scale data analytics.
Develop and maintain
services
, workflows, and interfaces to allow for cross product communication and management.
Involved with full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, implementation, and testing.
Work cooperatively in an Agile team structure to deliver value to our clients, internal and external.
Required:
Degree in
computer
science or related field of study.
2-5 years industry experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of database principles, object oriented design, and evaluation of algorithmic efficiency.
Experience writing code for database technologies such as MSSQL or Postgres.
Experience writing parallelized data driven algorithms.
Experience with windows based development using Visual Studio.
Experience coding in C#, and ANSI SQL.
Experience coding WCF Services
Be able work in all 3 tiers but data access / web services is most important.
Preferred:
Masters in Computer Science
HTML 5 web development experience.
Experience with Map Reduce or Hadoop related technologies.
Experience in an MPP database platform such as Greenplum or Natezza
